Fall Fashion Forecast:A Piece of Toast blog

Thank you Katie for inviting us to share some of our favorite looks for fall!  Although temps in our city of Dallas are still in the 100s and we sadly won't be heading back to school this year (sniff, being a graduate is hard) we still love all these pieces and think they are definite investment staples that can be worn year round!

Schoolboy blazer.  Navy.  A must-have for ANY girl's closet - ours have already gotten us tons of miles - you can throw it on over a dress when you get to school and still wear it into fall with jeans.

Frye harness boots. Our mom calls these "dingo boots" not sure why, but we love them.  We each have a pair of suede Fryes but these classics are high on our wish list.  We weren't kidding about wearing this stuff year round - how cute would these guys look with a flowy skirt for summertime in Colorado (or some other place cooler than Dallas).

We're obsessed with this Madewell scarf ever since we saw it in the store last week.  Blush colors are very in for fall and the blues of this scarf would look to die for with a classic tee and jeans, don't you think?  The scarf features names of well known neighborhoods and boroughs in NYC, making it that much cooler.

Leather bags in this yummy color always remind us that fall is right around the corner.  We love leather bags that are laid back, timeless and don't look like they are trying to hard - like the Mulberry Alexa bag.  Dreaming BIG on this one!

Digging (beyond digging) this amazing nail color from the Chanel fall collection.  It would be a nice little addition for some fun fall nails.  The shade is a yellowish green so it almost looks a like mossy tarnished gold from straight on... Might be a nice conversation starter at the bars.  Now you know why we both have boyfriends.  Your welcome.
